Everyone keeps talking about the Leafs lack of effort the other night, but don't discount the Rangers EXTRA effort, we were coming off a 3 game losing streak, looking terrible in almost all 3 games. Lundqvist was sharp & that I thought was the difference.

Too bad about MacArthur. Always seemed like a good dude.

Here's hoping he can have a healthy post hockey life if he's done.

Fair enough... I didn't see the game, just going by what Mike Babcock said on Friday, that it was their worst effort of the season, including 7-0 and 7-3 losses earlier in the season.

And I agree...people often forget there are two teams on the ice that are trying to win.

NP & believe me, Ranger fans can be some of the worst culprits when analyzing they're team & giving NO credit to the opposition who is out there doing there best to stop you.

Just sucks for MacArthur. Good guy and just too bad that his season ends like this. Hopefully it isn't the end of his career. Though if it is then wish him the best in what he does going forward. Hopefully he recovers to a point where he can at least live without serious ongoing effects.

It's fine to give the Rangers a pat on the back for the extra effort. But the Leafs absolutely were sloppy and putting forward one of their worst efforts of the year. That was the difference in the game. Lunqvist only had to make 23 saves in a game New York was winning most of the night. It's not hard to avoid giving up 5 goals on a little over 20 shots.

The Rangers played well and deserved to win. But the Leafs played worse than the Rangers played well.

Where do you find the 80% of MacArthur contract covered by insurance?

Bad decision by Kelly and Pyatt to not get off the ice after the offensive chance. They were out there on the PK way too long. Were they out there the whole minute and a half? They looked tired

Shawn Simpson just tweeted out that Pyatt was 18 for 20 in the shootout in the Swiss league.

The real question is: why isn't he one of our 3 guys every game?!?!
